Refund policy
I. The 30-Day Inspection Framework At Global Appliances, located at 476 Fletcher Dr, Warrenton, VA, we understand that purchasing high-end units like LG, Samsung, GE, and Frigidaire is a major commitment. We offer a comprehensive 30-day return window starting from the precise timestamp of your delivery. This period is designed for you to inspect the unit for any manufacturing defects or aesthetic inconsistencies. If 30 days have elapsed since the carrier’s signature was obtained, we are legally unable to process a return, and the unit will transition fully into the Manufacturer’s Warranty phase.
II. Strict Condition Requirements To maintain the hygiene and resale integrity of our inventory, returns are only accepted if the appliance is in "Pristine, Uninstalled Condition." This means the factory-applied blue or clear protective films must not be removed, and the power cords must remain factory-bound. If a Dishwasher, Wall Oven, or Refrigerator has been connected to water, gas, or electrical lines, it is considered "Used" under industry standards and cannot be returned to our warehouse unless a certified technician deems it a "Dead on Arrival" (DOA) unit.
III. Non-Returnable & Final Sale Items Please note that certain items are excluded from our standard return policy. This includes all floor models, "Open Box" clearance units, and special-order appliances that were specifically procured for your project. Furthermore, any consumable parts such as water filters, air filters, and installation kits (gas hoses, dryer vents) are non-returnable once the internal seal is broken. Gift cards and service labor charges are also non-refundable under any circumstances.
IV. Mandatory Return Authorization (RMA) No returns will be accepted at our Warrenton, VA facility without a pre-approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To obtain this, customers must provide clear photographs of all four sides of the appliance and the original box. Once an RMA is issued, it is valid for 10 business days. Units sent back without a visible RMA number on the shipping label may be refused at the loading dock, and any associated freight costs will be the customer's responsibility.
V. The 24-Hour Damage Reporting Protocol Appliances are sensitive machines. Upon arrival, you must perform a "Visual Audit." If you notice a puncture in the box or a crushed pallet, you must write "Damaged upon arrival" on the driver's paperwork. If you discover a dent or scratch after the driver leaves, you have exactly 24 hours to report it to +1 571-561-9895. Reports made after this window are often denied by insurance carriers as they assume the damage occurred during the customer's internal move or installation.
VI. Financial Restocking & Administrative Fees A standard 20% Restocking Fee is applied to all returns that are not a result of our error (e.g., "changed my mind," "too big for the space," or "color doesn't match"). This fee covers the technical inspection, professional sanitation, and the devaluation of the unit from "New" to "Open Box." If the unit is returned with missing manuals or hardware, an additional 5% deduction will be applied to the final refund amount.
VII. Shipping & Logistics Recovery In cases of voluntary returns, the customer is responsible for the Actual Freight Cost of returning the unit. Please be aware that freight for heavy items like French Door Refrigerators or Washer-Dryer Sets can range from $200 to $500 depending on the distance to our Virginia warehouse. Original outbound shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are considered "Consumed Services" and are non-refundable.
