1. Nationwide Logistics & Fulfillment

At Global Appliances, headquartered at 476 Fletcher Dr, Warrenton, VA 20186, we specialize in the secure transport of high-value residential appliances. Our logistics network is specifically designed to handle heavy and fragile units such as French Door Refrigerators, Double Wall Ovens, and Front-Load Washers. We partner with specialized Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carriers who understand the unique requirements of moving premium brands like Samsung, LG, GE, and Frigidaire. Every shipment is monitored from the moment it leaves our loading dock until it arrives at your designated delivery address.

2. Order Processing & Verification Timelines

Once an order is placed, it undergoes a mandatory verification process to prevent fraudulent transactions and ensure address accuracy. Most orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. Please note that orders are not processed or shipped on weekends (Saturday/Sunday) or Federal Holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or severe weather conditions in the Warrenton, VA area, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If there is a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or phone at +1 571-561-9895.

3. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Due to the weight of our inventory (Refrigerators can exceed 300 lbs), we utilize freight shipping to ensure safety. Estimated delivery time for the Continental USA is typically 5 to 10 business days after the processing period. Please be aware that delivery delays can occasionally occur due to carrier capacity, remote locations, or seasonal demand. We provide tracking information for all freight shipments so you can monitor the progress of your appliance in real-time.

4. Curbside Delivery Protocol (Standard Service)

Our standard shipping method is "Curbside Delivery." This means the freight carrier will unload the appliance from the truck using a liftgate and place it at the curb, sidewalk, or the end of your driveway. The driver is strictly prohibited from bringing the appliance inside your home, unboxing the unit, or climbing any stairs. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange for the movement of the appliance from the curb into the residence. We strongly recommend having at least two capable adults present at the time of delivery for heavy units.

5. Appointment Scheduling & "Final Mile" Communication

For all freight deliveries, the carrier’s local terminal will contact you via the phone number provided during checkout to schedule a Delivery Appointment. Usually, the carrier provides a 4-hour window (e.g., 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM). It is imperative that an adult (18 years or older) is present to receive and sign for the shipment. If the carrier is unable to reach you after multiple attempts, the appliance may be returned to our warehouse, and the customer will be responsible for all original and return shipping fees.

6. Redelivery, Storage, and Re-Routing Fees

In the event that a delivery is scheduled and no one is home to receive the appliance, the carrier will charge a Redelivery Fee (typically ranging from $100 to $200). Furthermore, if a customer requests to change the delivery address after the item has already been dispatched from our Warrenton, VA facility, a Re-Routing Fee will be applied based on the carrier’s current rates. If the delivery is delayed by the customer for more than 48 hours, the carrier may also charge daily Storage Fees which must be cleared before the final delivery can take place.

7. Critical Inspection & Damage Reporting

Appliances are susceptible to "hidden damage." At the time of delivery, you must inspect the packaging for any signs of trauma, such as crushed corners or punctures. You MUST note any visible damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before the driver leaves. If the damage is severe, you should refuse the shipment entirely. If you discover a dent or scratch after unboxing, you have exactly 24 hours to report it to Global Appliances at +1 571-561-9895. Reports made after this window are extremely difficult to claim through freight insurance.

8. P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO Addresses

Due to the size and weight of our products (Microwaves, Ovens, Refrigerators), we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. All orders must be shipped to a physical residential or commercial address where a freight truck can safely navigate and unload. If a P.O. Box is provided as the shipping address, the order will be held until a valid physical address is provided, which may delay the delivery timeline significantly.

9. International Shipping Limitations

Currently, Global Appliances only provides shipping services within the Contiguous United States. We do not ship directly to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or international destinations at this time. However, we can ship to a domestic freight forwarder of your choice within the lower 48 states. Once the appliance is delivered to the freight forwarder and signed for, Global Appliances is no longer liable for any damages or issues that occur during the subsequent international transit.
